1979年成立
1996年停辦一年,該年影展活動改由Centre for Creative Arts接管

非FIAPF入列的世界影展.(註: 該官網之國際影展頁面2009年並未更新)

為台灣法規要點**中的第四類國際影展
**備註一下「電影事業暨電影從業人員參加國際影展獎勵輔導執行要點」中的「第四類國際影展」(2008.10.17修正)
第六條、國產電影片經本局甄選或自行以中華民國（臺灣）名義參加第四類國際影展得獎，依下 列規定核發獎金：
（一）獲競賽單元首獎，且經本局認定者，獎金新臺幣十萬元。
（二）獲前款以外，且經各該影展主辦單位網站公布或由各該影展主辦單位核發證明並經本局認定之競賽單元獎項者，獎金新臺幣幣五萬元。
前項各款得獎獎項為短片獎者，獎金減半核發。
第一項各款之獎金，以依第八點第一項規定提出申請，並經本局審查核可之申請人為受 領人。
前項受領人有數人者，應自行協調獎金分配比例。
